I qualified from the University of Manchester in 2006 and, following spells working in East Lancashire and Cheshire, joined Wood & Woolfstein in 2008. Over the years, I have enjoyed being part of the team and providing a high standard of dental care to all my patients.
For me, dentistry isn’t just a 9 to 5 job, it is a profession that is constantly evolving, with new techniques and materials being developed all the time. I dedicate a huge amount of time to reading dental journals and have attended a plethora of courses to ensure the treatment I provide is of the highest standard and uses the most up-to-date methods. I can also confess to being somewhat of a gadget geek and I am constantly purchasing new dental gizmos to aid in procedures!
In 2014, I satisfied the examiners at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh to become a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) and a keen interest in dental implants encouraged me to complete a year-long structured course led by world renowned implantologist, Ashok Sethi. This intense program covered all aspects of dental implant placement and restoration, and I now enjoy being able to offer this treatment to patients who have their lost teeth.
My approach is to treat patients the way I would like to be treated, and I always strive to provide them with a smooth, pleasant experience.
Outside of dentistry, I am a keen gym-goer and a member at David Lloyd Leisure Club, which I frequent at least three or four times a week to keep in shape. I am also a keen Manchester United supporter, although I still provide treatment to non-reds!Back to the About Us page »
